Bar Avni was recently awarded a Kurt-Masur-Institute Scholarship for the year 2021. In 2017 she won 2nd prize and the coveted orchestra prize in the Fitelberg Conducting Competition in Poland. In 2018 she won the Neeme-Järvi Prize of the Gstaad Conducting Academy. Among the Orchestras Avni has conducted are the Israel Philharmonic, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia, Juventus Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Resonanz, Tiroler Festspiele Orchester, Orchestre des Concerts Pasdeloup and Hamburger Symphoniker.
